My week at Morritt's Tortuga Club was a good escape from the chaos of everyday life. The staff were generally friendly and the location provided a true island feel, but I did face some challenges with the condition of my unit and limited internet options. Overall, I appreciated the serene beach atmosphere and would love to return.
Rooms

The unit was spacious and clean, with tasteful decor. but some aspects felt dated, like the chipped walls and rusted fridge. I really enjoyed the large balcony overlooking the beach, perfect for watching the sunrise.
Service

I was greeted with cheerfulness from most of the staff, making the check-in process quick and pleasant. although I found some areas of service could have been improved.
Location

Nestled on the East End, the resort was perfect for relaxation, away from tourist crowds. but a car is essential to explore the area fully and reach attractions.
Dining

The on-site restaurant offered decent meals, including fresh breakfast options. but prices were a bit higher than expected. Grocery stores nearby were handy for making my own meals.
Facilities

Facilities included pools and a mini-golf course, which added fun to the stay. yet I noticed some areas could use more attention, like the lawn chairs.

My stay at Morritt's Tortuga Club was mostly enjoyable, featuring friendly staff and beautiful ocean views. However, the resort is somewhat remote and the room I stayed in needed updating. Additionally, the noise from roosters was quite bothersome during the early hours of the morning.
Rooms

The room was spacious but in need of some updates. I had a huge patio and a good-sized bathroom, making it comfortable overall.
Service
7.0
The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, although there were times when it felt like customer service could improve.
Location
6.0
The resort is located at the remote east end of the island, which was peaceful but necessitated a lot of driving to reach attractions.
Dining
5.0
Dining options were somewhat limited and a bit on the pricey side; I found it better to venture out to nearby restaurants for variety.
Facilities

The resort had decent amenities, but the lack of clear directions to safe ocean entry points was disappointing.

My stay at Morritts Tortuga Club was mixed. The unit I had was spacious and fresh, providing a very comfortable experience. However, I was disappointed by the beach’s condition filled with seaweed, which made swimming impossible. Additionally, I found the location a bit isolated, with subpar internet service. Overall, while the unit was nice, the extra fees and beach issues left me wanting more. 🌊😕

My stay at Morritts Tortuga was quite the experience. The beautiful oceanfront view from my balcony was a highlight, though I couldn't ignore the dated furnishings and unexpected utility charges. The secluded location was peaceful, offering great snorkeling opportunities, although some staff seemed disengaged at times.
Rooms
6.0
My oceanfront view room had a nice sound of the water. but the furnishings felt quite dated and some amenities were lacking. I enjoyed the comfort of the bed and the two balconies, yet the room showed its age with water stains and broken items.
Service
6.0
While most of the staff were lovely and friendly, some servers seemed uninspired. This lack of enthusiasm was noticeable during my dining experiences, despite the decent meals I had.
Location
8.0
The resort's location on the quiet East End was ideal for relaxation. It was central to several snorkeling spots and activities, with a grocery store just a short walk away. However, the distance from the popular Seven Mile Beach was something to consider.
Dining
5.0
Dining options at the resort were average. I enjoyed a great burger at Ivan's Sports Bar, but the pricing felt a bit steep and the quality didn't always match the cost. Breakfasts had decent made-to-order options, but overall, I found the dining experience to be quite underwhelming.
Facilities
7.0
The facilities included a nice beach with plenty of room, though more amenities would have improved my experience. I enjoyed the bike rentals and shuttles to local restaurants, but the limited dining choices at the resort were a drawback.

My stay at Morritt's Tortuga Club was a mix of good experiences and a few unexpected hiccups. The ocean view from my unit was stunning and the location was perfect for a quieter getaway. However, I encountered some outdated furnishings and had to deal with additional charges for utilities that I hadn’t anticipated.
Rooms

The one-bedroom unit I stayed in was right on the beach, which was fantastic for snorkeling and enjoying the ocean. While the room had everything I needed for cooking, I did notice some outdated furniture and the overall decor felt a bit tired.
Service
8.0
The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. However, my check-in experience was delayed by two hours as they claimed they were trying to find me a nice unit, which was a bit frustrating. Still, I felt like part of the family during my stay.
Location

The resort is situated on the East End of Grand Cayman, away from the busier West End, which I really appreciated. It’s about a 40-minute drive from the airport, and central to all the lovely beach locations and local dining spots.
Dining
7.0
Dining at the resort was a highlight, especially the fresh omelets served at breakfast. Although I had a couple of disappointing experiences with other meals, there were options to explore nearby restaurants that I didn’t fully utilize.
Facilities
8.0
The facilities were quite useful, with amenities like laundry and tour assistance available. I also enjoyed the infinity pool with bar service, which enhanced the relaxing atmosphere.
